Problem:

A major paper mill in Brazil faced ongoing challenges with its traditional boiler water glass gage. Operating at 100 bar (~1500 psi), the existing gage was unreliable and difficult to read, increasing operator risk and reducing efficiency.

Solution:

We demoed our Simpliport® 180 Bi-Color Ported Water Gage Glass & LED Illumination and the customer immediately saw the benefits from switching their traditional gage over to a Simpliport 180.

By switching to the Simpliport 180, the plant gained:

  • Enhanced Visibility – The Wide Angle Hood allows operators to see bright red and green level indicators from anywhere within 180°.

  • Increased Safety – Reduced exposure time to the boiler environment while maintaining clear, direct readings.

  • Regulatory Compliance – Meets ASME requirements for direct reading gages.
